Hunter Biden is stepping down from the board of a Chinese-backed private equity company.
The news comes after President Trump's continued accusations of corruption involving former Vice President Joe Biden's family. In a statement from his lawyer, the younger Biden defended his work for foreign companies but pledged to avoid future business relationships that might pose conflicts of interest if his father should win the White House.
Meanwhile, Papa Biden is firing back at Trump for accusing him of corruption. Speaking in Iowa, Biden said Trump is lying an turned the focus back on Trump, accusing him of trying to get foreign governments involved in American elections on several occasions.
