Alex Trebek’s days at the host of “Jeopardy!” may be numbered. He said that the effects of his cancer treatments are affecting his ability to do his job. He’s starting to slur his words and his tongue isn’t working during taping. In addition, the chemo is causing sores inside his mouth.
Trebek is battling stage four pancreatic cancer. He says that he’ll give up his hosting gig when his performance diminishes to the point that he’s bothered. At this point, the producers have been supportive, but he knows that won’t last forever. He’s been hosting the game show since 1984,
