A bride recently lost her dad to cancer just four months before her wedding day.
Charlotte Watson knew she wanted to honor him on her big day and was looking for a way to do that. Turns out, her cousin Kirsty, who’s a nail artist and YouTuber, came up with the idea of using her dad's ashes in her wedding manicure. Kirsty and Charlotte went through the remains to find elements that would work for the nails using both the fine, dust-like pieces and the tiny bits of bone fragments.
Together they created a French ombré manicure with the ashes encased in the tips and finished with gems. Charlotte now hopes to use the remaining ashes to have some jewelry made.
