Trump Audio Compares Officials, Whistleblower To "Spies"

To say President Trump is less than thrilled about the state off affairs in his White House regarding the “Ukraine Phone Call” and now released Whistleblower Report would be an understatement. In fact, audio obtained by the “Washington Post has Trump suggesting the ‘whistleblower’ is more akin to a spy.

Among other things, Trump wants to know who gave information to the whistleblower and suggested a threat in remarks before staff from the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. Speaking to the staff from the U.S. mission to the U.N. - a gathering of about 50 people – that whoever gave the whistleblower information is "close to a spy."

He went on to say that "in the old days" spies were “dealt with differently” – for those who don’t know, that’s death. The “Times” reports the remarks stunned people in the audience – though a number of them are heard responding with laughter. The event was closed to reporters as – and that might’ve been a good idea considering the President reportedly referred to the media as “scum” and “crooked.”
