Not a great start to what could have been an amazing yearly competition in India.
The first-ever flatulence competition in India went down on Sunday and it stunk. No really, it was such a disappointment. Over 60 people registered to show off their "longest, loudest, and most musical" flatulence but only 20 of them showed up.
And of those 20, only three of them wound up being brave enough to get on stage. Unfortunately, none of those three people were able to break wind under pressure. So the organizer didn't wind up giving the three trophies to anyone.
You could tell that he was really disappointed in the outcome too, as he said after the event, "We had even roped in a firm to build a special device to measure the fart parameters."
What a shame.
