One day after a formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump was announced, our 710 WOR panel of hosts Len Berman, Michael Riedel, Mark Simone and Joe Concha had national politics and the 2020 Election top-of-mind during WOR Live at the Cutting Room on Wednesday afternoon.
Following a Labor Union panel discussion, our four WOR hosts took the stage to tackle one of the biggest national stories of the year, whether a transcript of a phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed Trump attempting to leverage foreign aid to bolster his re-election campaign.
The WOR team was then joined by ABC 7 New York anchors N.J. Burkett and Toni Yates, who took on a larger discussion about how local and national news is covered in 2019.
To close the event, Berman, Riedel, Simone and Concha took questions from the audience about a variety of subjects.
