Former Governor Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd Palin, are heading for divorce after 31 years of marriage.
What gives? Papers filed by Mr. Palin in Anchorage Superior Court last Friday cite "incompatibility of temperament," stating that the couple finds it "impossible to live together as husband and wife." The Palins have five children together and in the court filing, Palin asks for joint legal custody of the couple's 11-year-old son, Trig, as well as an equal separation of assets and debts.
The couple’s other four children are adults.
