You should never text and drive. Especially if you're driving around with five pounds of weed in your car. A Massachusetts man is now facing charges in Connecticut after police say he was spotted texting while driving on an interstate.
Officer then pulled the car over that was being driven by 30-year-old Jesse Daniel Pomponio of Watertown, Massachusetts. Police walked up to the car and could smell the weed and when they searched the car they located five and a half pounds of marijuana, 50 grams of cocaine, 17 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, LSD, and several pills. In addition, $13,770 of U.S. currency was seized from the vehicle.
No word on if they cited him for texting while driving.
