Actress Melissa Errico jumped into action this week, helping save a man who had fallen onto the train tracks of a subway station.
Errico told WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning” she was arriving at the 14th Street station on Wednesday when she heard someone yelling for help.
She said two men were trying to pull a man back onto the platform, but weren’t able to do it on their own. So she ran over to help and the three of them were able to rescue him.
“We worked quickly and got him up before the train,” Errico said.
She said following the rescue, she had the man’s blood on her.
Errico joked that she would save Riedel if the same thing happened to him, even though he’s given her critical reviews in the past.
“I’m old now, I have three kids and I will pull you out of the subway even if you gave me a bad review,” Errico said.
