The Florida man charged in a controversial Stand Your Ground shooting case in Pinellas County has been convicted!
Michael Drejka will serve 30 years after being held for more than a month on a manslaughter charge. He shot and killed Markeis McGlocton in a confrontation over a parking space at a Clearwater convenience store in July. Drejka claims he shot McGlocton in self-defense.
Hundred of pages of documents gathered by the sheriff’s office were released as well and they show an angry Drejka. Witness accounts talk about him showing very little remorse over the incident.
