If you’re worried about the U.S. economy sliding into a recession, President Trump says you shouldn’t be. Speaking to reporters yesterday, he says he doesn't see a recession on the horizon, though he noted that "the world is in a recession right now."
Trump went on to say that consumers are loaded with cash because of his tax cuts. He said the U.S. is doing much better than any other country in the world right now. Trump added said if there is any downturn in the economy, it would be because he's had to take on other countries who treat the U.S. poorly.
And on that note, Trump offered that once those situations normalize, the U.S. economy will be like a "rocket ship."
