The remains of a Vietnam War Air Force pilot whose plane was shot down in 1967 was finally returned today in a commercial jet flown by his son.
"They had been searching in my dad's crash site area, and they said we didn't find human remains," Knight said.
Southwest Airlines Capt. Bryan Knight flew the plane transporting the flag-draped casket of his father 36-year-old Col. Roy Knight Jr. of Millsap.
"You can't imagine what an honor that is for a son to be able to do that for his father," Knight said.
