No Bail For Jeffrey Epstein

Jeffrey Epstein Appears In Manhattan Federal Court On Sex Trafficking Charges

It’s official, convicted sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein has been denied bail. He is awaiting a trial on new charges in New York that he had sex with underage girls – and trafficked them.

Prosecutors had argued Epstein's wealth, access to a private jet and motive to flee are reasons he should remain locked up. The discovery of passports in with his face and different names and countries of origins supported that – as did the $70-thousand in cash and a large quantity of diamonds found in a safe.

Epstein's attorneys were pushing to have him out on bail living in his Manhattan mansion under heavy supervision. Epstein, an already registered sex offender, is accused of trafficking dozens of girls in his Manhattan and Florida homes between 2002 to 2005.
