9/11 advocate John Feal is calling Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee “hypocrites” after they blocked an effort to reauthorize the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund.
“These are the ones that voted for a trillion dollar tax cut.These are members that have added to the national deficit with this administration spending more money than any other administration in history and now they want to cherry pick when they’re going to be fiscally conservative?” Feal told WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel.”
Feal said Lee and Paul have had their phones “blown up” because of pressure from the 9/11 community.He expressed confidence the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund would still win reauthorization because they have the support of Senators Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell and Kirsten Gillibrand.
“Rand Paul and Mike Lee they should go back to the states that they’re from and never to be seen again,” Feal said.
