Jennifer Lopez's New York fans were left disappointed Saturday night when the blackout that hit part of the city forced the cancellation of her show.
The singer was in the middle of the third song in her “It’s My Party” show when all the lights went out at Madison Square Garden, forcing the evacuation of the venue. She later took to social media to apologize to fans for the cancellation.
“Devastated and heartbroken that I can’t perform for all of you tonight,” she told fans, promising they’d “get their money’s worth” when she’s able to reschedule the show. “We will make this up to you, I promise! I love you!!”
And fans didn't have to wait long for the new show. It is now set to take place tonight. “ANNOUNCEMENT: Gonna take more than a city-wide blackout to shut us down!” she shared. “Rescheduling the show for Monday night! #ItsMyPartyTour #SeeYouSoon #TakeTwo Ticketmaster and LiveNation will have details on their websites in the morning!!!” Check out a clip of the black out moment to the right, as well as J.Lo’s announcements.
