Congratulations are in order for David Foster and Katharine McPhee – they just got hitched! The couple said “I do” Friday at an intimate ceremony in West London in front of 100 of their family and friends, including Foster’s daughters Sara and Erin, and a few celebrities, too.
Ahead of the ceremony, McPhee took to Instagram to gush about her now-husband. “Exactly 13 years ago today my very first single, 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow,' was released right after ‘American Idol,’” she writes. “Today… I’m marrying the man who produced it. Life is full of beautiful coincidences, isn’t it? Thank you for taking me over the rainbow, David.”
Oh, and she's not Katharine McPhee anymore, she took her husband's last name – just check her socials, they all say "Katharine Foster" now! This is Foster’s fifth marriage and McPhee’s second. Another “beautiful coincidence?” Foster played piano at McPhee’s 2008 wedding to Nick Cokas.
