Some criminals make the job of catching them too easy.
A Long Island man is facing charges for accusations he robbed a Dunkin Donuts and then used an Uber as a getaway car. Andrew Sandson allegedly walked into a Brentwood Dunkin Donuts shop Sunday with a note demanding cash saying he had a gun. He never showed a gun but fled with cash into a car.
A customer gave police a license plate tracked to an Uber that had dropped Sandson off at his Brentwood home, where he was arrested. It was kind of easy to find Sandson, since the Uber driver gave up the guy’s info. The driver wasn’t involved at all….obviously.
