Many of us have been annoyed by the “Baby Shark” song craze, but we all just figured it would die down on its own eventually. But it turns out, we were very, very wrong. Sorry to break it to you, but Nickelodeon has announced they’ve got a “Baby Shark” TV show in the works.
The network is working with SmartStudy on the new animated series and while grown-ups may not be excited about it, our little ones will be. After all, kids love this song so much, it’s one of the top 10 most-viewed videos on YouTube ever, according to Ramsey Naito, executive vice president at Nickelodeon Animation. So they’re thrilled to get their hands on it and keep millions of “Baby Shark” fans watching.
And unfortunately, this isn’t the only “Baby Shark” project in the pipeline. Netflix announced back in January that it’s also working on a kids’ show inspired by the catchy song. No word on when these will make it to TV, but don’t worry, your kids won’t miss it.
