SEE IT: Photos From Hurricane Florence

 
 

The photo above shows what Hurricane Florence looks like from Space and below is what it looks like on Earth with locals and tourists trying to keep things positive. The hurricane has recently been downgraded to a category 2 storm but will still impact the coast of Carolina significantly. 

European Space Agency astronaut Alexander Gerst tweeted the above photos taken 249 miles above the eye of the storm. “Watch out, America! #HurricaneFlorence is so enormous, we could only capture her with a super wide-angle lens from the @Space_Station, 400 km directly above the eye,” he wrote. 

Locals and tourists are making the best of the time they have before the hurricane hits by posting photos on Instagram using the #Hurrication.
