Congressman Peter King says “a lot of progress has been made” in the fight against the MS-13 gang.
He told WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning” that President Trump has made this a “major priority.” Trump visited Brentwood last year and additional resources have been sent to Long Island.
“It’s been given a high priority by the federal government, but again, it’s embedded into the community,” King said.
King said one of the problems is that undocumented immigrants aren’t willing to come forward to report crimes.
“MS-13, except for the guys at the top - the actual operatives - are in it just to kill people and for power,” King said.
