The New York Knicks secured a commanding 109-93 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday at Madison Square Garden. Josh Hart led the charge with a playoff career-high 26 points, helping the Knicks take a 2-0 series lead. Jalen Brunson contributed 19 points and 14 assists, while Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns added 19 and 18 points, respectively.

The Knicks dominated with an 18-0 run in the third quarter, building a substantial lead that the Cavaliers couldn't overcome. Despite a slow start, Brunson excelled in the second half, orchestrating the offense and capitalizing on Cleveland's defensive adjustments. The Knicks' role players, including Hart, stepped up, showcasing their ability to adapt and execute under pressure.

Cleveland's Donovan Mitchell matched Hart's 26 points, but the Cavaliers struggled with shooting, finishing at 38.8% from the field. James Harden added 18 points, but the team's poor free-throw performance and bench contributions hindered their comeback efforts.

The series now shifts to Cleveland for Game Three on Saturday, where the Cavaliers hope to leverage their strong home record to bounce back. Knicks coach Mike Brown emphasized the importance of maintaining pace and exploiting Cleveland's defensive cross-matches.
