Broadway and rap fans are facing an unexpected change as Megan Thee Stallion announced her early departure from 'Moulin Rouge! The Musical.' Originally set to perform until May 17, her final show will now be on Friday, May 1, at New York's Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Megan, who played the role of Zidler, shared the news on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the experience and the people she met in the theater.

The decision to leave early comes amid personal challenges, including her recent breakup with NBA player Klay Thompson. Megan accused Thompson of infidelity in a now-deleted Instagram story, stating, "Trust, fidelity, and respect are non-negotiable for me." She confirmed the split in a statement, emphasizing her need to prioritize herself.

Megan's departure also follows a health scare in March when she was hospitalized for exhaustion and related symptoms. She had to leave a performance mid-show, later describing it as a "real wake-up call." Despite these setbacks, Megan's portrayal of Zidler, as the first female to play the role, received strong reviews and increased interest in the show.

Fans who purchased tickets for performances after May 1 are being offered refunds. A replacement for Megan has yet to be announced. 'Moulin Rouge! The Musical' is set to continue its run until August 30.
