The job market constantly ebbs and flows over the years, swinging between the favor of the employers and employees. The current job market has been swinging away from the favor of employees for some time and is now reaching a point where many people are left looking for answers on how they can increase their chances of getting a job. Greg Giangrande, career advice expert, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about the job search process.

“Looking for a job, to do it properly, it requires a lot of effort,” Giangrande told host Larry Mendte. “It requires making sure you are tailoring every resume to every job you are looking for, that you are positioning yourself properly, that you are doing the right research and you’re not just blanketing the internet with applications.”

Giangrande explained why some people have resorted to paying others for assistance in their job search: “Some people don’t feel comfortable in their job search despite all of the information that is available… they still don’t feel confident without having some sort of coach or guide or some people just don’t have the time and they’re willing to pay someone to help them through the process.”
