A massive snowstorm hit the country last weekend, and there is potential for another one to hit areas of the states this weekend. To make sure you have the best info to prepare for the storms it's important to have a trustworthy weather app. Rich DeMuro, host of ‘Rich on Tech’ on WOR Sundays, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about which apps are the best.

“My friend over at 9to5 Google… downloaded a whole bunch of apps AccuWeather, WeatherUnderground, HyperLocal, DarkSky, the Weather Channel, and then Google’s Pixel Weather app,” DeMuro told host Larry Mendte. “He said the Pixel app that they’ve hyped so much with this AI forecasting actually was the worst.”

DeMuro also let Larry know which app performed the best in the storm: “AccuWeather and Weather Channel turned out to be the best, and I discovered on the AccuWeather app that they offer a 90-day forecast... but you do have to be a paying subscriber.”
