CES 2026 is currently going on in Las Vegas with a showcase of some of the best new tech around the world. While many new and upcoming inventions are eye opening, there is one in particular that could be a great solution for the older generation among us that are struggling. Rich DeMuro, host of ‘Rich on Tech’ on WOR Sunday nights, talked to Mendte in the Morning about one of his favorite pieces of tech he saw at the convention.

“One of the best things I saw is this robotic dog -- its from a company called Tombot -- it’s called Jenny,” DeMuro told host Larry Mendte. “This thing looks really realistic… the unique part here is that it’s for people that might need it for companionship for therapy if they have dementia or Alzheimer’s.”

DeMuro explained why and who this may be necessary for: “If you have to take away their dog for safety reasons, you can give them this electronic dog that responds to touch.”
