Sean "Diddy" Combs, currently serving a four-year sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, may face disciplinary action for participating in an unauthorized three-way phone call. According to reports from CBS News, prison officials have recommended a 90-day suspension of Diddy's phone and commissary privileges. The incident occurred on November 3, when Diddy allegedly connected multiple parties during a monitored call, a violation of Bureau of Prisons policy that prohibits multi-party communications to prevent illicit activities.
Diddy, who began his sentence on October 30 after being convicted in New York for transportation to engage in prostitution, reportedly defended himself by stating he was unaware of the phone call regulations. His spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, claimed the call was procedural, initiated by one of his attorneys, and was protected under attorney-client privilege. Engelmayer emphasized that the conversation was harmless and involved discussions about issuing a statement to The New York Times.
In addition to the phone call incident, TMZ reported that Diddy was caught with homemade alcohol, although his representatives dismissed these claims as false. Despite these controversies, Diddy is participating in the Residential Drug Abuse Treatment Program at Fort Dix, which could reduce his sentence by up to one year.
