The iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree will arrive in New York City on Saturday, November 8th, marking the beginning of the holiday season. The tree's origin and donor remain undisclosed, but its arrival will be celebrated with a series of family-friendly activities at Rockefeller Center.

Festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. on the South Plaza, featuring a Holiday Workshop with Peanuts-themed activities, including coloring, scratch-off crafts, and a Build-A-Bear "heart ceremony" with Snoopy bears available for purchase. Children can also meet Snoopy, write letters to Santa, and take home holiday keepsakes. Families with Top of the Rock tickets will receive priority access to the workshop.

In addition to the workshop, kids can participate in an Art Sundae workshop, creating "Walk of Fame" stars from colored sand, inspired by Cynthia Talmadge's exclusive Rockefeller Center exhibition. The celebration will continue at the Top of the Rock with a special visit from Snoopy, a holiday book reading, a sing-along with Broadway talent, and seasonal crafts.

Rockefeller Center encourages advance registration for the free event, which also includes a complimentary Chip City cookie for those who pre-register. The tree will be decorated in time for the lighting ceremony on Wednesday, December 3rd.
