Tragedy struck in Minneapolis, Minnesota yesterday when shots were fired at school children attending a Catholic mass during their first week of the school year. The shooter has been identified as 23 year-old Robin Westman but the search for a motive is still ongoing. Christiane Cordero, ABC News reporter, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about the investigation for that motive.

“In this case what they’re going to do is they’re going to comb through the writings and the video that was taken down very quickly,” Cordero told host Larry Mendte. “Westman’s Mother works at the school so that’s always kind of like a starting point…and she’s alive.”

Cordero is not expecting an official answer on the reasoning for this shooting anytime soon: “There’s a lot to kind of go through and it will take time.”
