Ghislaine Maxwell met with the DOJ last month to answer questions about her involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and that of several high-profile names who interacted with Epstein. Transcripts of the meeting that are now released show Maxwell stating there is no list of associates, and several big names such as Donald Trump and Bill Clinton did not engage in any criminal or inappropriate activity that she had seen. Peter Charalambous, ABC News investigative reporter, talked to Mendte in the Morning about whether or not we should believe Maxwell and her recent claims.

“I think it’s worth noting what the victims in this case are saying,” Charalambous told host Larry Mendte. “We’ve heard from multiple victims; they’re calling this basically an effort to rewrite history.”

Charalambous shared exactly what Epstein’s victims are saying in response to Maxwell’s meeting: “They’re reminding people that not only was Ghislaine Maxwell convicted of facilitating this sexual abuse, she participated in it according to multiple victims who testified at her trial.”
