As artificial intelligence continues to develop and become more common, it continues to change aspects of our lives. The increased use of AI isn’t just from one side of the coin though as it seems businesses and individuals alike are making use of the new technology. Rory O’Neill, WOR National Correspondent, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about the increased use of AI in the job searching process.
“The corporations, the business that’s doing the hiring, they are like too many of the applicants are having bots write their resume,” O’Neill told host Larry Mendte. “On the flip side, applicants say ‘my resume, my application, it never sees a pair of human eyes.’”
O’Neill believes that nobody actually enjoys this change in the process: “We’re seeing AI used more and more in the HR space… It’s fascinating because both sides seem to hate it.”
