Does The Jeffrey Epstein Client List Exist? And If So, Whose Name Is On It?

Six years after his death, social media forums are abuzz with the consternation created by the possible existence of the Jeffrey Epstein client list. The action- or inaction- of Attorney General Pam Bondi has only ratcheted up the curiosity factor, as people want to know what’s in the file, and what’s in the file the proverbial “they” don’t want us to see. Even the least incriminating scenario- that there’s nothing noteworthy in the file and President Trump looks bad for hyping much ado about nothing- leaves people clamoring that “they’re not telling us everything”. Two Republican pundits appeared on 710 WOR’s Mendte in the Morning to offer their interpretation of how the Epstein file should be handled.

Former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, who can be heard Saturdays at 4pm on WOR, feels the Trump administration should follow the sage advice that honesty is the best policy and simply state what’s really there: “I think there’s probably a lot of people on there, a lot of different names on there, that had nothing to do with anything bad… should those names be protected? I think so… So that’s the one thing I can see about withholding it, but honestly, I think the Trump administration screwed up a little bit here, because you can’t say, ‘We got the list; it’s right in front of me’ and then all of a sudden [you say], ‘Oh, there is no such list.’ Something doesn’t square off here. There either is a list that needs to come out, or they need to explain why it’s not coming out, or they need to release everything they’ve got.”

Former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer, meanwhile, had a recent guest on his podcast who is adamant that a “client list” does exist: “Here’s the dirty secret- the actual interview with professor [Alan] Dershowitz happened before all of the hub-bub came out, so when he’s talking about ‘I’ve seen the list’, he means it. And that’s what the real interesting thing is, that he’s not trying to jump into current events and make news. This was said before the announcement came out that the DOJ said there was nothing further, which frankly, in my opinion, makes it even more powerful.”
