What Does A GOP Pundit Believe Should Happen In The Wake Of Bidengate?

In their haste to appear like they are on top of current events in Washington- or perhaps to distance themselves from any involvement in those same events- many pundits have started referring to events that took place in Joe Biden’s years in the Oval Office with the moniker “Bidengate.” It’s a catchy title, but what does the breadth and scope of Bidengate convey to the American public about who was actually running the country from 2021-2025? Scott Jennings is a CNN political contributor and author of the upcoming book “Revolution of Common Sense: How Donald Trump Stormed Washington and Fought for Western Civilization.” He appeared on 710 WOR’s Mendte in the Morning to discuss the magnitude of Bidengate as the network’s long-time conservative pundit crying out in the wilderness for much of that time frame.

Jennings discussed the likelihood of Bidengate fallout with host Larry Mendte: “The one piece of accountability and consequences you will get out of this is political accountability. The Democratic party in Congress is already sitting at like a 20, 21% approval rating. I think this Biden stuff is driving the party down even further and if we get to the bottom of it even further with hearings, then the American people will be left with an interesting choice in 2026 and 2028, which is, do we want to put the people back in power who engaged in the largest conspiracy in modern American political history?... The consequence there is Republicans are going to get a chance to continue to govern.”

Jennings has a key reason why he agrees with CNN reporter Jake Tapper, who is belatedly calling out the media for covering up Biden’s decaying acuity: “It is worse than Watergate, because what we now know is that you had unelected people running the White House, making decisions on behalf of the elected President, and that’s not the way our Constitution works… and I think the next thing that needs to happen is Congressional hearings, because these unelected people in the White House who were making decisions and running the auto-pen need to be held to account.”
