Pro-Palestine protests have continued on the campuses of Barnard and Columbia in New York City after several arrests being made by the NYPD. Donald Trump has announced plans to stop federal funding to schools that allow them to occur. Jeffrey Lichtman, high profile criminal defense attorney and host of Beyond The Legal Limit on iHeartRadio, spoke with Mendte in the Morning to talk about the protests and what he thinks needs to be done to stop them.
“You have to arrest and cage; you then have to expel and then you have to deport,” Lichtman said to host Larry Mendte. “That’s it. There’s no threats, no talk.”
Lichtman believes that the protests have been taken over by those spreading the wrong message: “Free speech is allowed… but 99.9% of them are violent disruptive jihadists.”
