When Donald Trump won his first Presidency in 2016, the shock and displeasure was very apparent throughout the mainstream media which they took out on his White House Press Secretaries. Karoline Leavitt has stepped in as White House Press Secretary for Trump’s second term and has been able to weather the storm that is the media during a Trump Presidency. Sean Spicer, Donald Trump’s first press secretary, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about Karoline Leavitt and how she thinks she has succeeded so far.
“Karoline is a very intelligent and talented individual and that comes through in the briefing room,” Spicer tells host Larry Mendte. “That being said it’s a multi-faceted equation…that piece of it is crucial; she has a really good relationship with Donald Trump.”
Spicer is happy for Leavitt but wishes he had a similar situation during his time working for the President: “I gotta be honest with you I do get a bit jealous of how it has gone down with Karoline.”
