ICE Report Shows 58,000 Illegals In NYC Have Criminal Records

Representative Nicole Malliotakis, from NYC's 11th Congressional District, discussed a report out of New York Ice offices that claims 58,000 of the migrants that have entered the city illegally have been arrested or have a criminal record.

Malliotakis said, "The report is very frustrating, nobody wants to know that there are hardened criminals convicted of heinous crimes walking our streets. The blame goes back to Bill DeBlasio and the radical city council passing a law in 2014 that prohibits the NYPD from cooperating with ICE in an attempt to get illegals deported. The 2014 law also got ICE kicked out of Rikers Island. I've asked the city several times for the exact number of crimes that have been committed by illegals and was told those numbers won't be ready until March. We hope that come January 20th, when President-elect Trump takes office, local politicians will comply with his wishes to rid the country of these dangerous individuals.
