New York City Is A Criminal's Paradise

Recently obtained data from ICE showed that over 58,000 of the illegal immigrants living in New York City had been convicted of a crime or had criminal charges pending. Under the current administration there has been no serious push to get these criminals out of the country but that will likely change under Donald Trump and new border czar Tom Homan. Director of Policing and Public Safety for the Manhattan Institute Hannah Meyers spoke with the WOR Morning Show about NYC’s migrant support programs and how they have been abused by criminals.

“Maybe some of the original waves were just coming to New York City because there’s just such amazing benefits here,” Meyers told host Larry Mendte. “Now people realize that our criminal justice system attaches no consequences to property crime.”

Meyers believes these laws supporting migrants are inviting in the wrong crowd: “It is actually attracting individuals and attracting gangs to New York City because you can have an amazing career in property theft.”
