Can New York Football Be Fixed?

The Giants and Jets have a combined 5-17 record on the season and both currently hold a top 7 pick in the upcoming draft. With the Giants releasing Daniel Jones on Friday, and Aaron Rodgers turning 41 years old Dec. 2nd, both teams are in poor situations that have become common for them over the last few seasons. Legendary sportscaster Warner Wolf spoke with the WOR Morning Show about where the blame falls on these teams shortcomings and what needs to be changed.

“It starts at the top,” Wolf tells host Larry Mendte. “John Mara, an owner who let his general manager give away Saquon Barkley… and Woody Johnson who fired his coach, his offensive coordinator, and his general manager but not himself.”

Wolf thinks these results will continue unless drastic changes are made: “The Giants and Jets will not be going to a Super Bowl as long as these two guys are running the teams.”
