Yankees In Danger Of Being Swept In World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers are just a win away from a World Series title, after a 4 to 2 win over the Yankees in Game 3 in the Bronx.

Freddie Freeman homered for the third straight game, getting the Dodgers off to a quick start with his two-run shot in the 1st inning. Meanwhile, the Yankees' Aaron Judge went hitless and has just one hit in the series after leading the majors with 58 home runs during the regular season.

"We're gonna come back. This is New York. We in the building right now. New York is gonna win," one Yankee fan told WOR's Natalie Migliore.

The Yankees are without a World Series title since 2009, while the Dodgers last won a championship during the 2020 COVID-shortened season.

"The Dodgers are that new dynasty. They're the Yankees in the '90's," another Yankee fan said.
