World Series Arrives In The Bronx

After losing the first two games of the World Series in Los Angeles, the Yankees return to the Bronx on Monday where they'll look to turn things around.

Clarke Schmidt gets the start in Game 3 for the Yankees after a regular season where he pitched to a 5 and 5 record with a 2.85 ERA. However, the key to the series could be whether Aaron Judge breaks out of his slump. He has just 1 hit in 9 at bats in the World Series and he's hitting just .150 with two homeruns in the postseason.

The Yankees lost the first game on a Freddie Freeman grand slam with two outs in the 10th inning. Then on Saturday night they lost Game 2 by a score of 4 to 2.

The Yankees haven't won a World Series since 2009, while the Dodgers are two wins away from their first title since the 2020 COVID season.
