Yankees Square Off Against Dodgers In World Series

For the first time in 15 years, the New York Yankees are playing in the Fall Classic.

They're taking on the Dodgers in the World Series, with the first two games in Los Angeles. The Yankees haven't won a title since 2009, while the Dodgers last won in 2020 during the COVID-shortened season.

The matchup features the two biggest media markets in the country, two of the sport's marquee franchises and some of the biggest stars in Major League Baseball. Shohei Ohtani had a historic season for the Dodgers, becoming the first player ever with 50 homeruns and 50 stolen bases in a season. Meanwhile, Aaron Judge led the majors with 58 homeruns and 144 RBI's.
