Forget Political Unrest, Staten Islanders Want More Pickle Ball Courts

Len Berman and Michael Riedel expected to talk to the Minority Leader of the New York City Council and Staten Island representative Joe Borelli about the political unrest in the Adams administration but the conversation shifted to a more important topic. There are not enough pickle ball courts in Staten Island.

Borelli says, "For the past two years, my office has taken more calls on the lack of Pickleball courts than any other subject. We just finished two new courts in Fairview Park, they are lit, so people play there 24/7. Staten Island has beautiful amenities, I took my kids fishing in Wolfe's Pond Park over the weekend. Staten Island has 30,000 acres of parks. Instead of moving to Florida, come live a life of leisure in Staten Island.
