It’s not too uncommon to see polling date swing back and forth between candidates in a close race whenever major news drops, but in this election the data seems to show that most voters are locked into their candidate. ABC News Washington Bureau Chief Rick Klein joined 710 WOR’s Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning to discuss just how steady the polling data has been.
“There's only been one event in this whole campaign that’s moved the needle, and that was the exit of Joe Biden and the entrance of Kamala Harris,” Klein told Berman and Riedel. “That took things from a slight Trump edge to a slight Harris edge.”
Klein brought up some normally impactful moments that seemingly haven’t swayed voters. “We’ve had assassination attempts, we’ve had running mates being picked, we’ve had debates. Nothing seems to change.”
