Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Joe Borelli, the Minority Leader of the New York City Council and Represents Staten Island's South Shore, about the possibility of him running for Mayor if Adams resigns.
Borelli said, "The short answer is we'll see. I hope the mayor doesn't resign, it wouldn't be a good thing for the city, but if he does, it will trigger for the first time in NYC history a non-partisan, rank-choice special election that I'd get involved in because it gives Republicans and Moderate Democrats a good chance to elect someone who is focused on the real meat and potato issues that 99.9% of New Yorkers care about, and not the woke garbage and nonsense we have now.
