With the Presidential race heating up, 710 WOR’s Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning brought on WOR White House Correspondent Jon Decker to discuss the potential anger we will see from Democrats if Trump were to win this election.
“That’s what elections are all about,” Decker told Berman and Riedel. “Half the country is going to be very disappointed with the outcome on November 5th.”
Decker also believes that the election process will extend far beyond that early November day. “I don’t think anything is going to be decided by the way on November 5th... I think there is going to be a series of lawsuits and recounts,” Decker added. “Prepare yourself for extensive litigation post-election.”
Decker later added that both sides have had to deal with contentious election results in recent memory with Gore in 2000 and Trump in 2020.
