Classes Begin At Columbia University With New Rules

Students at Columbia University face new rules as they begin a new school year.

They'll now have to show their university ID in order to get onto the campus. The rule is aimed at preventing anti-Israeli demonstrators from taking over the campus like they did during the Spring. The protesters were camped out for weeks and had to be removed by the NYPD after taking over a building at the school.

All guests wanting to enter the campus will have to be pre-approved.
