More Americans will be hitting the roads and taking to the sky for the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Triple A says travel will be up 9 percent this year compared to last, thanks to good deals on airfare and cheaper gas prices. Thursday afternoon through Friday morning is expected to be the busiest time for drivers.
TSA says it could screen a record number of passengers this weekend. Gas prices in New York are about 40 cents cheaper per gallon than they were last year.
