Mayor Adams Announces Plans To Clean Up 14th Street

Mayor Eric Adams has announced a new initiative to address quality of life concerns on 14th Street in Manhattan.

He says several agencies will work together to clean up the area, which has been plagued by homelessness, drug use and illegal vending. The NYPD is stepping up its presence in the area and garbage pickups will be increased.

"Our administration does not and will not tolerate an atmosphere where anything goes," Adams said.
