Len Berman & Michael Riedel in the Morning:
The campaign that could do no wrong just two weeks ago suddenly can’t get out of its own way, as Donald Trump is under fire for a comment that he made on Wednesday, saying that Kamala Harris “became a black person” when she began running for political office. Meanwhile, the Kamala Harris honeymoon has been a complete reverse image; the liberal Vice-President candidate that everybody wanted to go away two weeks ago is now the media darling with a moderate stance heading into the Democratic convention later this month. Both Sarah Isgur of ABC News and Democratic strategist Laura Curran weighed in on the campaigns this week with Len and Michael.
Locally, New York City comptroller Brad Lander threw his hat in the ring this week to take on Mayor Adams in a bid to lead New York. New York City Council minority leader Joe Borelli joined Len and Michael this week to explain why he calls Lander “Deblasio part two.”
Mark Simone:
Donald Trump is out with a proposal to not tax Social Security benefits if he’s put back in the White House. Mark spoke with economist Steve Moore this week about why that is a great idea.
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter joined Mark this week to discuss Vice President Kamala Harris’ political baggage.
President Biden announced his plans for an overhaul of the Supreme Court this week. FOX News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett joined Mark to discuss the President’s proposal.
