Alicia Keys and Jay Z got the crowd on their feet at the Tony Awards, joining forces for a performance of the hit song "Empire State of Mind."
Keys began with her solo version of the song, before announcing she "had to do something crazy" because the Tonys were being held in her hometown of New York. That's when Jay Z appeared near a staircase inside Lincoln Theater to pick up the song.
