One person is dead and another person has been injured after two separate violent incidents in Midtown.
Just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, a 22-year-old woman was stabbed in the chest near the Port Authority Bus Terminal and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. She was reportedly attacked by another woman, although the motive isn't known.
About two hours earlier, a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg and injured in the area of Herald Square. There had apparently been some kind of dispute involving a group of people.
